Parental leave increases from three to four months – postponed to 2013

January 18, 2012 7:19 am Published by Leave your thoughts

I had been proposed to amend the Parental Leave Directive (2010/18/EC) allowing a period of parental leave following the birth or adoption of a child increases from three to four months in 2012.  However, after much publication, this is now not planned to be implemented until 2013.

There have been a number of changes to family related legislation recently. Ring us if you want to make sure you are managing these areas of employment correctly – we’re on 0845 463 3231, or email us and we’ll arrange time to talk.
